The Central Sikh Gurdwara Board has embarked on an initiative on behalf of the whole Singapore Sikh Community (together with the support of all the Sikh Institutions in Singapore) to publish a Directory of the Singapore Sikh Community and at the same time build a database of all Sikhs in Singapore. 

We hope to be able to use the information to do a demographic study of the Sikh population in Singapore and hope to cater to the needs of the various age groups and their geographical locations in Singapore. We would also be able to reach our to a more direct audience and advise of them of activities conducted by the various Sikh organizations and major religious events. Please be assured that the database will NOT be available to commercial organizations for advertising and promotion purposes.       

The Singapore Sikh Directory will contain the following information:

a.           Brief History of the Sikhs and their Institutions in Singapore.

b.          Sikh Households (name, address and residence telephone numbers only)

c.           Sikh Businesses (full business address and contact details) 

d.          Sikh Institutions (full address and contact details)
